Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Inaugurate Dwarka Expressway’s Haryana Segment

Prior to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s inauguration of the Haryana leg of the Dwarka Motorway, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday examined the site’s preparations, the helipad, the four-layer trumpet sections and the public gathering area.

The PM will enter Haryana at the Bajghera border by vehicle, according to a statement from the Gurgaon administration. There, he will be greeted by Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, Khattar, and other dignitaries. The four-layer trumpet parts will subsequently be inspected by foot by the prime minister. He will then address the audience and open the Dwarka Motorway in Sector 84.

According to the statement, there will also be an exhibition at this time on the expressway and the various stages of development of the National Highways Authority of India’s project in Haryana.

The expressway is planned to link Kherki Daula toll and Shiv Murti near IGI Airport. This would increase Gurgaon’s commuter options and make it easier to go to Delhi for a sizable portion of the population. It is being constructed in four sections, two of which are in Delhi (10.01 km) and two of which are in Haryana (18.9 km), at an estimated cost of Rs 9,000 crore.

Additionally, Gurgaon Traffic Police issued advice on Monday, advising commuters not to travel on the route from the cloverleaf interchange towards IMT Manesar, the location of the event, which is close to Antariksh Chowk.

Following the DC’s directives, unmanned aerial vehicle use (apart from official operations) will be forbidden on March 10 and 11, as the PM will be in Gurgaon on that day. In accordance with the directives, disregarding orders would result in legal action under IPC Section 188.
