IIM Kochi’s Executive MBA Programme Welcomes 200 Participants, Including International Students

The Indian Institute of Management Kochi (IIM-K) has announced the enrollment of 200 participants in its executive MBA programme for the current academic year. Among the diverse cohort, four international participants have joined the programme, hailing from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Germany. Notably, female candidates make up 24 per cent of the batch.

Highlighting the geographical diversity of the participants, over three-quarters of the students come from outside the state of Kerala. To accommodate the diverse student body, the programme offers a mix of in-person and online classes. While one weekend cohort will meet in person, two weekday cohorts will be conducted online.

The batch represents various sectors, including government, public sector undertakings (PSUs), logistics and supply chain management, healthcare, education, IT, manufacturing, and banking and financial services. The IT and ITES sector holds the highest representation at 35 per cent.

Moreover, IIM-K has introduced new courses to its portfolio, including a one-year Post Graduate Program in Business Leadership (2019), an MBA in Finance, and an MBA in Liberal Studies & Management (2020).

Celebrating its recent milestone, IIM-Kochi held the induction ceremony for its 11th batch (2024-2026) of the Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP). Dr Aravind Srinivasan, Chief Medical Officer and Director of Projects at Aravind Eye Care System, graced the ceremony as the chief guest, alongside Professor Debashis Chatterjee, Director of IIM Kozhikode.

Established in 2013 at Infopark, Kochi, the IIM Kozhikode satellite campus is dedicated to Executive Education. It also boasts the distinction of launching a PhD (Practice Track) program tailored for working professionals.
