Gurgaon: Five Vomit Blood At Restaurant After Consuming Mouth Freshener

According to authorities on Monday, at least five people were admitted to the hospital after consuming mouth freshener at a restaurant in Gurugram.

The event happened when a man named Amit Kumar went to the La Forestta Cafe in Gurugram’s Sector 90 with his wife and several other friends.

According to the police, the group’s health rapidly declined when restaurant employees handed mouth fresheners to them after they finished their meals.

“I showed the packet of the mouth freshener to a doctor, who said it was dry ice,” Mr. Kumar said in his police complaint. The doctor claims that the acid can even lead to death.

The victims reportedly started to vomit as soon as they felt a burning feeling in their mouths. They soon started throwing up blood. Rinsing their mouths with water was equally ineffective.

Two of the five hospitalized individuals are reportedly in critical condition.

In response to the victims’ allegations, the police have opened a case against the owner of the eatery.
